family Counselling

Family counselling with me offers a calm, structured space for parents, carers, and adolescents aged 16+ to come together and make sense of what’s happening in their relationships.

I support families to slow things down, hear each other more clearly, and understand the patterns that keep them feeling stuck. Sessions are led by your needs, but often focus on rebuilding trust, understanding each other’s needs, mutual expectations and improved communication.

Whether you’re navigating direct conflict, emotional distance, the impact of alcohol and drug use, or past experiences, we work collaboratively to create meaningful shifts that improve connection and help all parties to feel heard.

In addition to offering family counselling, I work as a psychological therapist for a charity supporting children and young people in care. I also have extensive experience working with families facing significant distress, including situations where children are at risk of entering the care system.

My background includes providing targeted psychoeducation for parents whose children are on the edge of care, helping them build confidence, strengthen relationships, and develop the skills needed to navigate complex family dynamics.
